Forest defender Tyler Bindon joins Charlton on loan
Nottingham Forest defender Tyler Bindon has moved to Championship leaders Charlton Athletic on a season-long loan.
Nottingham Forest have loaned 21-year-old defender Tyler Bindon to Charlton Athletic for the remainder of the season. The New Zealand international joins a side that won its opening three league matches to lead the Championship.
Bindon made 26 appearances during a loan spell with Sheffield United in the division last season. He later represented New Zealand at the FIFA World Cup and spent pre-season with Oliver Glasner's Forest squad.
Charlton manager Nathan Jones said he had followed Bindon for a long time and moved after injuries affected his defensive options. Managing director James Rodwell said the club adjusted its plans after Collins Sichenje suffered a long-term injury. Bindon said Charlton's plans matched his own ambitions and that he hoped to contribute positively. The agreement runs for the full season.
