Nottingham Forest have been linked with Liverpool goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, although a separate report disputed the claim.

Nottingham Forest are reported to be considering Liverpool goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili before the summer transfer window closes at 11pm on Tuesday, September 1. Marca reporter Matteo Moretto reported the interest, while the Telegraph's Dominic King said the claim was untrue.

The Georgia international has made 20 appearances for Liverpool since joining from Valencia in 2025 and currently serves as Alisson's deputy. Fabrizio Romano reported that Liverpool had contacted Genk about Lucca Brughmans, either as a replacement if Mamardashvili moved or as a longer-term option from 2027.

Forest have also been linked with Crystal Palace captain Dean Henderson, who spent the 2022-23 season on loan at the City Ground. Palace reportedly regard Henderson as unavailable, despite reports of a Forest bid following an agreed £22 million fee for defender Daniel Munoz. Forest have already added Ousmane Diomande, Gustavo Sa, Xaver Schlager, Steven Benda and Liam Delap during the window, with Munoz expected to follow.
